From Chame into serene cool forest with climbs facing tremendous views of Lamjung and Annapurna peaks as walk enters scenic Manang valley at Pisang village located beneath towering Pisang Peak and Chulus range of lesser mountains.

After Pisang village into strong Buddhism heritage culture and religion where tour takes you to visit Braga oldest monastery of Manang area, festooned with ancient artifacts and idols of Buddha with other great Buddhist saints and Gurus.

Excellent panorama of high peaks of Annapurna Himalaya includes Chulu group of peaks from the monastery and head into main Manang village staying here for two overnights to get acclimatized against high altitude sickness known as AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness).

At Manang with ample time to visit around and observing lively local cultures and hike around view points, (while in Manang suggested side trips to Ice Lake of 4-5 hrs both way, best walk south of Manang village and up near to the base of Gangapurna and Annapurna III for grand views of Gangapurna Ice Falls with small lake of Manang).

Thorang-La Pass at the height of 5,416 m / 17,769 ft offers breathtaking panorama of mountains that encircles the highest spot of the journey facing views of Dhaulagiri and peaks of Mustang Himal.

Enjoying glorious scenery a long descend towards Mustang country at Muktinath, a holy site for Hindu pilgrimage the temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu in the form of Muktinath means to liberate one self.

Ending our fabulous walks at Muktinath where short drive lead downhill to wide Kaligandaki River valley to reach our final overnight stop in a nice large town at Jomsom with small airstrip that flies you to Pokhara unto Kathmandu.

Jomsom located at 2,715 m high within windy areas of Kaligandaki River valley and home of indigenous Thakali people the tribes of Lower Mustang area, where Jomsom a main town and headquarter of Manang area.

Season for Tilicho Lake and Semi Annapurna Circuit Trekking:

Best time March to May and September till November months of the year from spring-autumn / fall, where few travelers might be interested on low season during summer and monsoon wet season of June to mid September heavy rains on southern sides of Annapurna Himalaya range.

March to May when days are longer with much sunlight hours clear morning till late afternoon, chances of light shower and snow on mid hills above 2,000 m high.

Spring seasons, hills are alive with bright colors from wild-flowers in full blooming time especially the rhododendron of various species from tall trees to bush, also a national flower of Nepal.

Another peak times to visit from mid September to November months when days are clear for mountain views and pleasant walks, much shorter sun-light hours due to autumn and winter season.

Freezing cold temperature in the morning and night times above 1,800 meters higher can expect snow above 2,500 m onward.
