Trek Outline

Starting on a normal popular trekking route to Everest base camp where our route diverts from Dingboche towards remote corners of Imjatse valley at Chukung a small settlement to start our actual adventure.

Crossing the first highest pass of the trip over Kongma-la 5,535 m, enclosed behind Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse peaks to reach back on the main trail at Lobuche and towards Everest base camp and climb on top Kalapathar 5,545 m for the fabulous panorama of giant surrounding peaks with Everest at close distance.

After being on top around the highest and scenic places of the popular area of Khumbu, walk towards another hidden corner to cross second high pass Cho-la to reach around magnificent Gokyo valley and its serene glacial lakes.

Enjoying marvelous moments after traverse over two high passes of Kongma and Cho-la and at beautiful Gokyo, finally climb leads to cross the last major pass of the adventure over Renjo-la rewards you with most amazing views of world four highest mountains.

From Renjo-la at 5,365 m, enjoy the views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse with Cho-Oyu and Makalu towards the east direction, as route leads to long descend to reach at the western scenic side of Khumbu valley at Thame village and its oldest monastery of the region.

Finally, our adventure comes to an end as walk reaches you to Namche Bazaar and downhill back to Lukla for sweeping flight to Kathmandu, to complete our overloaded great adventure and amazing experience on Mt. Everest Three High Passes Trekking.

The season for Mt. Everest Three High Passes Trek:

April and May with September till early December months within spring-autumn / fall and pre-winter times, except summer and monsoon wet season of June to mid-September heavy rains on southern sides of Everest and Khumbu region.

Best months and high time April and May when days are longer with much sunlight hours clear morning till late afternoon, chances of light shower and snow on higher altitude above 3,000 m high.

Springtime hills are bright with wild-flowers in full bloom, especially the rhododendron of various species from tall trees to bushes a national flower of Nepal.

Another peak times to visit from mid-September to early December months when days are clear for mountain views and pleasant walks, much shorter sun-light hours due to autumn and winter season.

Freezing cold temperatures in the morning and night times above 2,800 meters higher can expect snow above 3,000 m onward.
