Day to Day Itinerary

• Day 01: From Kathmandu flight to Biratnagar and drive for few hours to Kosi Tappu Wild Life Reserve transfer to lodge / resort.

  Morning transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport as per flight time for Biratnagar city airport located Far South Eastern Nepal within Terai belt of sub-tropical climate. On 45 minutes air borne catch grand panorama of wide Himalayan peaks from Langtang, Jugal Himal with views of Mt. Everest and Mt. Makalu to Kanchenjunga in the far North East horizon. On landing at Biratnagar city airport received by our staff and jungle guide where short drive of few hours reaches you at Kosi Tappu Wild Life Reserve, on arrival transfer into a lodge or resorts where naturalist and manager briefs you of the reserve rules and regulation with jungle program set for you. Transfer to your rooms and time for late lunch in a large dining hall with great meals served. Afternoon nature / introductory walks or visit Tharu village the tribes of Nepal Terai belt, dinner in dining rooms.

• Day 02: Full day safari programs with elephant ride

  Early morning time for refreshing cup of tea / coffee start jungle activities either elephant ride, jungle walks or bird watch tour. Return after jungle programs for breakfast and rest for a while and continue with short activities canoe ride to observe bird life and crocodile or chances of spotting rare and endangered Gangetic Fresh Water Dolphins (smaller to sea dolphins). Return with short walks for lunch with few hours in the afternoon at leisure till next late afternoon activities. Late afternoon by 3 p.m. gather on assemble spot for jungle safari elephant ride, jungle walks and nature tours, evening with time before dinner.

• Day 03: Morning nature program then drive for flight to Kathmandu.

  Early morning routine follows for jungle activities like bird watch tour, Machhan (tower) visit with nature walks or elephant ride (if not done previous days), return for breakfast and ready for drive to Biratnagar airport for scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Kosi Tappu Wild Life Reserves can be reached rafting with great thrill on Sun Kosi River of week rafting then with short drive to Kosi Tappu Wild Life Reserve for exciting nature and jungle activities.
