Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
On arrival at Kathmandu and at Nepal international airport, received by our Boundless staff and representative or guide, for short transfer to your hotel in the hub of Kathmandu city around Thamel.
Thamel the an interesting and exciting area of the city, after checking into your rooms, then join at the lobby for group briefing provides you with trekking and other necessary information.
Include group welcome dinner in a nice Nepalese authentic restaurant with local culture of folk musical program to entertain along with dinner.

Day 02: Morning tour around Kathmandu at places of interest.
Morning at the hotel having breakfast then leave for interesting sightseeing tour around Kathmandu famous world heritage sites, with time in afternoon preparation for trek.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,820 m - 30 mins and walk to Phakding 2,640 m - 04 hrs.
Leaving your hotel in Kathmandu for short drive to Kathmandu domestic airport where short flight in a smaller aircraft reaches you at Lukla.
Lukla located at 2,820 m with views of Naulekh Himal and Kongde peaks, a Sherpa town with unique airstrip named as Tenzing and Hillary airport in tribute to late conqueror of Mt. Everest.
From Lukla walk starts on easy gradual path heading through nice Sherpa farm villages to reach first overnight stop within Khumbu at Phakding village close to Dudh Kosi River.

Day 04: Trek to famous Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 06 hrs.
From Phakding morning on nice pleasant slow climb crossing bridge to reach at lovely village of Monjo facing views of Tharmarserku peak, then enter Sagarmatha National Park.
Sagarmatha a name in Nepalese for Everest while Sherpa calls Chomolungma, as walk takes you to last village of Jorsalle before Namche Bazaar, walking around river bed with short climb to cross the high bridge.
After the bridge with climb on winding path within forested surroundings of pines, firs, oaks and rhododendron trees as route leads into famous Namche Bazaar for overnight stop.

Day 05: At Namche for acclimatization and short scenic hikes.
Namche a famous large village nearly size of a town an important spot for Khumbu Sherpa as well for trekkers, where one can find nearly all types of facilities from banks, post-office, nice lodge and hotels with many restaurants and bakeries including Pubs and Bar to enjoy on the way back.
Namche holds busy colorful market once a week on Saturday, an interesting bazaar to observe local custom and cultures of Khumbu Sherpa native.
Places to visit on rest day at Namche Bazaar:
Short walks to National Park museum an interesting place on top of Namche Bazaar, where you can catch views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Amadablam with series of peaks.
Everest View Hotel, a climb of an hour to Syangboche and then easy uphill to the highest deluxe hotel of Khumbu at 3,880 m rewards grand views of Mt. Everest and range of peaks in serene environment.
Khumjung and Khunde Village located on a glacial valley different to Namche, with traditional life style houses and to witness Sherpa lively custom and culture.
Visit Khumjung old monastery the only place believed to be of Yeti scalps, visit Khunde and the hospital built by Hillary Foundation.

Day 06: Trek to Tengboche Monastery 3,867 m - 05 hrs.
Spending pleasant and exciting time at Namche morning walk heads east on wide scenic trail with views of Everest and range of high peaks, as walk continue downhill to a small place Phunge-Tenga for short break or lunch stop.
Afternoon climb leads for few hours within lovely cool rhododendron, pine and fir tree forest to reach Tengboche, a famous spot for marvelous panorama of mountains that surrounds with views of Everest.
Tengboche with famous and interesting monastery with time here to visit into the monastery to witness Buddhism religion and culture, where once a year in the month of October or early November a great colorful festival held called Mani-Rimdu.

Day 07: Trek to Dingboche 4,340 m - 05 hrs.
From Tengboche enjoying grand mountain views walk downhill to reach a bridge over Imjatse River, after crossing walk takes you with slow climb within dry area, as tree lines drops for few short juniper and rhododendron bush, short uphill to reach Pangboche village at 3,900 m.
Pangboche the last permanent village on the way to Mt. Everest base camp, from here shot climb to a place of Somara for lunch stop, and then uphill for short-from a small bridge to enter into beautiful Imjatse valley where Dingboche located, a large temporary settlement for overnight stop, facing views of Amadablam North Face with Island Peak towards east.

Day 08: At Dingboche another acclimatization day and for short hike.
Another rest day to support acclimatization where short hike takes you to the top of Nakarjung hills for wide panorama of peaks with Mt. Makalu in the east direction includes range of high mountains that encircles Dingboche and Imjatse valley.

Day 09: Trek to Chukung 4,735 m - 04 hrs.
After Dingboche short few hours walk to Chukung a small settlement few number of lodges,
located at the end of scenic Imjatse Valley, as walk leads east facing views of Amadablam-
Lobuche with majestic Island Peak, on reaching at Chukung for lunch and overnight stop,
free afternoon to relax enjoy views of mountain with preparation for next early adventure over
Kongma-la to Lobuche.

Day 10: Cross high Kongma-la 5,535m and to Lobuche 4,890 m - 08 hrs.
Early morning start heading within inner and high side of Imjatse valley where route
takes beneath Lhotse and Nuptse mountains, trekking on faint path to enter a narrow area
between Nuptse and Pokalde peaks.
After some rest and then climb on top Kongma-La at 5,535 m and 18,159 ft the highest pass of
the adventure, hidden between Nuptse and Mehara peaks, the pass marked with rock cairns
and Buddhist prayer flags.
After reaching on top descend towards Khumbu glacier walking with care on icy path and
moraine, climb over rubble of rocks and boulders then downhill to Lobuche for overnight stop
after a tough walk of the day.

Day 11: To Mt. Everest Base Camp 5,364 m via Gorakshep -06 hrs both ways.
Morning our great adventure heads towards our final and main highlight to reach on the bottom of Mt. Everest at its base camp.
As walk lead to steep short climb over glacier and moraine to reach Gorakshep, a small settlement on a flat glacial valley situated beneath lofty peaks of Pumori and Kalapathar rocky hill.
From here having short rest as walk continues to Mt. Everest base camp, enjoy views of massive Khumbu Ice Fall and glaciers standing beneath world number one peak, after a great exciting moment walk retraces back to Gorakshep for overnight stop.

Day 12: Climb Kalapathar 5,545 m and trek to Dzongla 4,735 m - 6 hrs.
Early morning steep climb to the top of Kalapathar Hill located at 5,545 m high, highest spot of the adventure enjoy glorious panorama of giant peaks with Mt. Everest at closest distance.
After a great moment on top descend to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue walk past Lobuche, then downhill to reach an isolated corner where Dzongla small settlement located beneath Cho-la and on route Gokyo valley.

Day 13: Cross Cho-la pass 5,367 m and descend to Thaknak 4,785 m - 08 hrs.
Adventure begins early morning to reach on top second high pass of the journey, climb on steep slopes over rocky moraine with some ice-sections (sometimes), and then on top of Cho-la, often spelled as ‘Tsho’ offers views of Cholatse-Lobuche East and West peaks with Nirekha peaks.
After a wonderful moments and short rest, descend towards Thaknag around Gokyo Valley area, where walk leads over rocks and moraine to reach a lonely and isolated place at Thaknag for overnight stop before Gokyo Lake.

Day 14: Trek to Gokyo valley around main 3rd lakes 4,810 m -04 hrs.
Today another short day morning with climb to a small ridge and then on good scenic trails beneath Ngozumba glacier that feeds Dudh Kosi River, walk lead past small settlement of Na.
As walk lead on pleasant path past first lake and then reaching second lake and towards our destination at Gokyo third lake, also called Dudh Pokhari or Gokyo Lake.
Gokyo valley located at the height of 4,810 m high, with afternoon free for short walk around its lake with views of Mt. Cho-Oyo with Gyachung Kang peak.

Day 15: Cross Renjo-la 5,365 m and descend to Lungdhen 4,380 m- 07 hrs.
Our last and final great pass to complete today, early morning walk leads south of Gokyo Lake, and then climb over rocks and scree path to reach high Renjo-la offering super panorama of mountains with Everest, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu and Makalu towards east includes array mountain range.
After refreshing stop on top, downhill heading past Renjo icy ponds to reach Lungden for
overnight stay, located close on route to Nangpa-la a border of Nepal and Tibet, at Lungden
enjoy rest of the day overlooking views of Kongde peaks.

Day 16: Trek to Thame village 3,880 via Marlung - 06 hrs.
From Lungden on completing all three high passes from here on easy walk downhill to Bhote-
Kosi River near small farm village of Marlung, where walk leads you on pleasant trail to reach
Thame village within a scenic valley around west of Khumbu area, in Thame visit old monastery
of Khumbu area, an interesting place full of ancient artifacts, idols and holy Buddhist books with
super views of peaks.

Day 17: Trek to Namche Bazaar via Thamo - 05 hrs.
After nice overnight stops at Thame, from here on pleasant walk down and then up following a gentle path to Thamo village, and then back into trees and green vegetation as walk reaches you at famous Namche Bazaar for overnight stop.

Day 18: Trek to Lukla - 06 hrs.
Last day walk of our adventure, as morning starts with long descend to reach Dudh Kosi River and at Sagarmatha National Park near Monjo village, from here walk and cross a long bridge to Phakding.
From Phakding head towards Lukla where route lead with up and downs with last final climb of short hour to reach Lukla for last overnight stop around Khumbu and Everest region.

Day 19: Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Morning catch early morning flight to Kathmandu from Lukla facing grand panorama of Himalayan range of peaks with Mt. Everest, soon landing at Kathmandu airport and then transfer to your respective hotels, with afternoon free to enjoy your own personal activities and shopping.

Day 20: In Kathmandu as reserve and contingency day.
In Kathmandu reserve as free or contingency day in case of flight delay might lead to cancellation sometimes, due to unfavorable and bad weather condition which can happen before flying to Lukla or on the way back.
On this day enjoy rest and explore places of interest around Kathmandu when all things go well according to our standard planned itinerary days.

Day 21: International Departure homeward bound.
Enjoying marvelous time around high hills and mountains of Nepal Mid East Himalaya, last day in Nepal after a great experience on Mt. Everest Three High Passes trekking, as time for your international flight depart from the hotel, where Boundless Adventure staff transfer you to the airport for your flight homeward bound or to respective countries.
