Adventure takes you from low warm heavily farmed land of Lamjung district with slow and scenic climb to reach cooler alpine temperatures around high green hills covered with tall rhododendron, oaks, pines and fir tree lines.

Walk continues with excellent views of Annapurna and Manaslu mountain range then entering into Manang area near a large town Chame at Kotto village, where our route diverts from the main Annapurna circuit trails heading into perfect wilderness within mountains and wild glacier rivers.

As daily walk progress entering into narrow gorge and then reaching a wide exposed upper valley at Phu village area, with time here to marvel marvelous scenery of high white snow capped peaks, as well exploring interesting village of Phu and culture visiting its old monasteries.

After Phu adventure takes you to its adjoining village at Nar another impressive place and quite similar with houses built of stone-works facing super panorama of surrounding high peaks then leaving Nar and Phu territory to cross over Kang-la the first pass of the journey.

A great traverse from one end of upper Manang to reach another side of lower valley where views from Kang-la leaves you bewildered facing magnificent panorama of Damodar, Himlung, Chulus, Pisang peak with Annapurna range.

Finally walk lead downhill to reach back at Annapurna circuit main trail after overnight at Ngawal village, to reach on famous scenic trail towards main Manang village and beyond to the end of Manang valley beneath Thorang-La pass.

Next early morning last and final climb of the adventure on winding steep haul to the top of Thorang-la at 5,416 m high where the pass marked and festooned with colorful Buddhist flags offers mind-blowing panorama of peaks that surrounds this highest spot of the adventure.

From the pass long downhill walk to reach at holy premises of Muktinath, a holiest of all holy pilgrimage spot for Hindu religions where our adventurous treks ends here at Muktinath, where short drive takes you to Jomsom a large town and headquarter of Mustang district.

Jomsom located on ancient Trans-Himalaya Salt Trade Route of Nepal to Tibet that extends beyond upper Mustang, and main hub of Thakali people the main tribe of Kaligandaki River valley who have been on trade with Tibet since past hundreds of centuries.

A nice town with many good lodges serving excellent meals where next early morning a smooth short flight takes you to scenic and beautiful Pokhara to complete our amazing adventure of fascinating memories of Nar-Phu and Semi Annapurna Circuit Trekking.

Season for Nar Phu and Semi Annapurna Circuit Trekking:

Best time April and May with September till October months of the year from spring-autumn / fall, where few travelers might be interested on low season during summer and monsoon wet season of June to mid September heavy rains on southern sides of Annapurna Himalaya range.

April and May when days are longer with much sunlight hours clear morning till late afternoon, chances of light shower and snow on mid hills above 2,000 m high.

Spring seasons, hills are alive with bright colors from wild-flowers in full blooming time especially the rhododendron of various species from tall trees to bush, also a national flower of Nepal.

Another peak times to visit from mid September to October months when days are clear for mountain views and pleasant walks, much shorter sun-light hours due to autumn and winter season.

Freezing cold temperature in the morning and night times above 1,800 meters higher can expect snow above 2,500 m onward.
