Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
On arrival at Kathmandu and at Nepal international airport, received by our Boundless staff and representative or guide, for short transfer to your hotel in the hub of Kathmandu city around Thamel.
Thamel the an interesting and exciting area of the city, after checking into your rooms, then join at the lobby for group briefing provides you with trekking and other necessary information.
Include group welcome dinner in a nice Nepalese authentic restaurant with local culture of folk musical program to entertain along with dinner.

Day 02: Morning tour around Kathmandu at places of interest.
Morning at the hotel having breakfast then leave for interesting sightseeing tour around Kathmandu famous world heritage sites, with time in afternoon preparation for trek.

Day 03: Drive or Fly to Pokhara 860 m - 06 hrs and transfer to hotel.
Morning overland journey as per groups size in private cars, coach on in the comfort of Tourist Bud where drive takes you towards Nepal Mid West to reach scenic, beautiful Pokhara, drive follows through farm villages and towns to end the drive at Pokhara then transfer to a nice hotel by the calm Phewa Lake where all nice hotels situated.

Day 04: Morning Flight to Jomsom 2,715 and trek to Kagbeni 2,835 m - 04 hrs.
Morning short and scenic flight to reach Jomsom from Pokhara, Jomsom a large town and headquarter of whole Mustang area, located on a shelf of Kali-Gandaki River.
From Jomsom where adventure starts towards wide Kali-Gandaki River valley to reach at Kagbeni village, an important place to enter into Upper Mustang and beyond as far towards Tibet border, on this ancient Trans Himalayan Salt Trade Route of Nepal and Tibet.

Day 05: Trek to Chele 3,045 m - 06 hrs.
After Kagbeni short climb to reach a wide valley enclosed with high canyon and towering eroded cliffs as walk leads to Tiri-Gaon village.
Walk around scenic terrain with short up and down then on winding path to Chele village for overnight stop, Chele also spelled as ‘Tshele’ a moderate size village here from onward into more Buddhism culture similar to Tibetan traditional life.

Day 06: Trek to Syangbochen 3,800 m on route visit of Samar Ramchung Cave - 06 hrs.
From Chele / Tsele village, walk continues with climb towards Gyakar village within wide and barren terrain and then reach at Samar village, a lovely village on walks explore around an interesting Ramchung Cave.
After few refreshing stops continue walk to small settlement of Bhena, and then with steep climb to a pass Yamda-La top at 3,860 m, offers fabulous views of Mustang great valley with high peaks of Mt. Dhaulagiri mountain range. After an enjoyable stop with striking views, descend all the way to Syangboche village for overnight stop.

Day 07: Trek to Ghami 3,510 m -06 hrs after crossing two lesser altitude passes
After a pleasant and wonderful stop at Ghami, morning with time to visit village old monastery here observe Buddhist prayer wheels propelled by fast flowing streams of water, after an interesting tour of the Gompa / monastery, continue walk to Ghami village with super views of arid and dry landscapes with distant peaks, then cross two high ridge / passes and downhill to reach a nice village at Ghami for overnight stop.

Day 08: Trek to Charang 3,560 m -05 hrs.
Morning leads to cross over Ghami Khola (stream) following a long row of interesting Mani walls (holy prayer stone) to reach at Dhakmar village, after short rest walk takes for few hours to reach overnight stop in Charang or Tsarang village.
An attractive village encircled by large crops fields with buck wheat’s and barley the only crops that can be grown on this high elevation and cold climate, at Charang / Tsarang after getting organized in local lodge or guesthouse for overnight stop, with time to visit another monastery of Charang village.

Day 09: Trek to Lo-Manthang 3,840 m - 05 hrs.
Today head towards our main highlights of the adventure to enter Lo Manthang once a walled kingdom since past three decades, short walk of 4-5 hrs brings you at Lo Manthang for lunch and overnight stop, walk follows a gentle path crossing a steel bridge to reach Marang village, from here the trail winds up to a ridge top to a Buddhist monument called Chorten with mani stones in between Charang and Lo Manthang, offers great views of dramatic landscapes within an extension of Tibetan plateau includes views of Nilgiri’s, Tilicho and Bhrikuti mountains.
After enjoying lovely views climb over Lo La pass at above 3,950 meters high and with downhill to a stream with an hour walk to enter the walled village / town of Lo Manthang and transfer into a nice lodge for overnight stops.

Day 10: At Lo-Manthang rest day to explore around.
Truly an interesting and exciting place for rest day and to explore around, after breakfast walk around important places visit former palace like a fort, where all houses are of Tibetan style with strong influence and way of life, visit narrow lane and streets of the village.
Lo-Manthang houses four major monasteries the Namgyal Gompa, ChampaLakhang (God House), Red Thubchen Gompa, Chyodi Gompa and the great Entrance Hall.

Day 11: Trek to Ghami 3,440 m - 06 hrs.
After time at Lo-Manthang, walk to lower areas to reach back at Jomsom as route leads to few short climb to reach at Ghami for overnight stop, one of the important village of Upper Mustang region.

Day 12: Trek to Samar 3,150 m -05 hrs.
Morning walk leads on same trail with a climb up to Nyi La pass, and then contour upwards to reach the path coming from Tsarang village, from ridge top descend to Geling Valley. Walk continues past Geling to reach an isolated Tea House and then with slow downhill reaching at Tama Gung.
With steep switchbacks as our route to a climb coming across a large painted chhorten and then on straightforward route to our overnight stop at Samar village.

Day 13: Trek to Kagbeni -06 hrs.
From Samar head more down to follow the river past nice farm villages and into huge canyon walls with ups and down to reach back at Kagbeni village to end the walk of Upper Mustang adventure.

Day 14: Trek to Jomsom 2,715 m - 04 hrs.
Today walk ends at Jomsom town, morning walk on wide Kaligandaki River valley, as trail follows on pleasant valley to reach at large major town of Mustang district in Jomsom, after checking into your nice hotel rooms having lunch, afternoon at leisure to browse around the street and shops at Jomsom the home town of indigenous Thakali people.

Day 15: Short flight from Jomsom to Pokhara and transfer to hotel.
Morning transfer to Jomsom airport where flight runs before afternoon, due to heavy winds which is common around this dry country similar to Tibetan landscapes.
From Jomsom during air-borne enjoy fantastic views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri’s, Annapurna Himalaya including towering Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’ peak as small aircraft makes landing at Pokhara airport.
A short drive reaches you to a nice hotels at beautiful city are of Pokhara by the Phewa Lake side, after a most enjoyable and scenic time on Upper Mustang Trekking.

Day 16: Drive / Fly to Kathmandu - 06 hrs.
Morning an overland journey to Kathmandu after leaving the hotel in Pokhara, as drive leads on the same interesting highway back at Kathmandu and then to your respective hotels, with afternoon free to enjoy your own personal activities and shopping.

Day 17: International Departure homeward bound.
Enjoying marvelous time around high hills of Annapurna Himalaya, and with last day in Nepal after a great experience on Upper Mustang trek, as time for your international flight depart from the hotel, where Boundless Adventure staff transfer you to the airport for your flight homeward bound or to respective countries.
