Day to Day Itinerary

• Day 01: Drive to Chitwan National Park premises and transfer to jungle lodge / resorts.

  Morning overland journey from Kathmandu takes you on exciting highway through many farm villages and towns, then following Trisuli River all the way to reach the low sub-tropical Terai around the flat land of Nepal, where dense green forest of Chitwan National Park located. Reaching at Chitwan transfer into a nice hotel, lodge or in resorts, situated by the buffer zone of the park premises a mere distance from entrance of the park, afternoon leisure nature walks or visit Tharu village native of Chitwan and Nepal Terai areas.

• Day 02: Full day jungle activities with elephant ride and jungle walks.

  Activities as per Park and Hotel arranged programs for various groups of guest where following programs set from Elephant briefing, bathing (depending upon the depth of a river at different seasons) Nature or Introductory walk. Elephant Safari, jungle walk includes visit to the tower (Machan) visit and Jungle drives, afternoon jungle activities of 2-3 hours, refreshing hours at leisure, evening program slide show on Chitwan National Park and its history, flora and wildlife includes local Tharu Cultural Stick Dance program before dinner is served around 8 pm onward. Jungle activities: Morning Bird Watch Tour, Machan (Watch Tower) Tour, Jungle walks, nature walks, elephant and jeep safari with elephant briefing and bathing elephants include more with entertainment of local Tharu cultural programs.

• Day 03: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

  Early morning nature activities, than after breakfast exciting drive back to Kathmandu, where journey follows Trisuli River upstream for few hour and then uphill to reach Kathmandu valley, from the high point of the valley rim a short drive of an hour back brings you into hustle-bustle city life of Kathmandu, and then transfer to your hotel with afternoon free for individual activities and shopping souvenirs.
