Bardiya National Park covers an area of 968 sq. kms, located far south western Terai, east of Karnali River, largest undisturbed wilderness region, covers 70 % with Sal forest with remaining; a balanced mixture of grassland, savannah and riverine forest, the park famous for Black Buck, with elusive and rare Royal Bengal Tiger, one horned Rhinoceros includes hundreds of different species of mammals and reptiles with more than hundred different species of exotic bird life.
