Wonderful Journey Everest Base Camp

We had a wonderful adventure with our guide Ramesh (A) and porters Ramesh (B) and JB. And may be although our trip had an immediate change of plan because we couldn’t fly into Lukla, our alternate plan of beginning the trek in Phaplu worked out, just fine. We saw the aspects of Nepalese village life that we would have missed that portion of the trail is less much busy so we could indocturated into family life was wonderful.

Ramesh was a wonderful guide who took care of us all and ensured that we received the information on all. There was to know about Nepal, Buddhism, the mountains, the people, the food and wildlife.

This was a great addition and made our trek much more meaningful. Our porters were amazing as they had to make many additional miles to the original plan walking form Lukla back to Phaplu and then having to bring me down from Lobuche to Pheriche, in the dark, when I succumbed to altitude sickness.

It was the best adventure ever!!
